Pentecostal Church of God of Lincoln, Lincoln location is a church that has been a pillar in the community since 1960. The Pastor, Bishop Marion, along with his wife, Mother Pearl Hendricks have led the congregation since 1995.

HISTORY:

The Pentecostal Church of God of Lincoln, Inc., was founded by the late Bishop Clarence C. Cartwright, and co-founded by his wife, Mother Dorothy in 1960.  They began their ministry to the Greentop community in Lincoln, Delaware under the leadership of Bishop N.S. Heastie, of the National Temple Pentecostal Church of God. The original sanctuary's construction was completed and the congregation moved into their new sanctuary in 1966.  Later, with a growing congregation, a new work began and the construction of the present sanctuary in Lincoln was completed and dedicated in 1990.

Following the passing of Bishop Clarence Cartwright in 1992, Elder Marion Hendricks assumed the office of Presiding Bishop of the Pentecostal Church of God of Lincoln, Inc. Later, in 1995, Bishop Hendricks assumed the pastorship of the Lincoln congregation. Mother Dorothy Cartwright, co-founder of the Pentecostal Church of God of Lincoln, Inc. continues to serve faithfully as National Mother.

From the beginning of the church under a small tent in a newly developed community, to the present sanctuary, the Pentecostal Church of God of Lincoln continues to be a place of worship for all.
